Deposits
Neuropsychological Therapy/Intervention:
Please be aware that a $100.00 deposit is required to book your initial therapy appointment. This deposit is refundable should you choose to not proceed with your appointment, as long as the cancellation is received outside of the 2 business day cancellation window.
If you cancel within 2 business days, your deposit will be forfeited.
If you cancel on the day of, or do not arrive at your initial appointment your deposit will be forfeited and the remainder of the applicable fee will be deducted from the card you have listed on your file, as per our “Cancellation and No-Show” policy.
Assessments:
A deposit that equals the amount of the assessment component will be taken at the time of booking to secure the assessment slot. Please refer to the cancellation policy at the end of this page for information on costs associated with late cancellation of assessments.
Cancellation Fees
A cancellation policy applies to all appointments. If you are unable to keep an appointment, please call the clinic to cancel as soon as possible. Medicare Rebates and Mental Health Treatment Plans
Dr Brasch is registered with Medicare and rebates are available for eligible clients. Individuals with a Mental Health Treatment Plan from their doctor are able to receive a rebate. Upon visiting your doctor, they will make an assessment about your eligibility for such a plan, and make a referral accordingly. Eligible clients are entitled to up to:
10 individual sessions with a psychologist per calendar year; plus
10 group therapy sessions with a psychologist per calendar year.
You will need to have your Mental Health Treatment Plan before you come to the first session in order for your rebate to be processed. And your Medicare rebate will be processed electronically at the end of your consultation.
Private Health Insurance Rebates
If you have ‘extras’ as part of you private health insurance you may be eligible to claim rebates for psychological sessions. Each health insurance package is different and rebates depend on extras cover schemes which can change over time, therefore, we recommend that you check with your insurer about rebate amounts. Please note that the Item Number for an initial consultation with a Psychologist is 100, and subsequent consultation is 200. You will provided with a receipt at the time of payment and you can submit this to your Health Insurance provider for your rebate.
